The process
From first message
to off the plane.
We've designed every step so that the only complexity you experience is on the trail.
Send us a message or fill in the enquiry form. We'll come back within 24 hours to set up a 20-minute call. If we don't think we're the right fit, we'll say so.
We'll recommend the route that fits your group's grade and preferred dates. A 40% deposit secures your spot. Your place is held, partners are notified, and permits are confirmed.
Six weeks before departure, you receive a detailed pre-trip document: route overview, daily stage breakdown, kit list, fitness recommendations, lodge information, and a direct contact for the trip guide.
Airport transfer is included. Your guide meets you at arrivals, handles your bike case, and takes you directly to the base lodge. Dinner, route briefing, and bike fit happen that evening.
Each day: route briefing at breakfast, GPX file to your device, guide on trail, mechanic and shuttle van in support. Luggage moves between lodges. If something breaks, it's handled before it reaches you.
The last day is usually short β mostly descent, all reward. A post-ride dinner with the group. Transfer to the airport, or wherever you're heading next.
Our non-negotiables
The rules we
don't bend.
We consolidate, rebook, or cancel before we run a trip at less than 7 confirmed, paid riders. Group dynamics and unit economics both require it.
A route is not on the website until every trail access, concession, and land permit across its full length is signed and filed. No exceptions.
Deposits land before we commit costs to partners. Balance clears before the trip starts. Partner payments follow the cash β never the other way around.
Every full-time Cape Line operator rides the routes we run β at guest pace, on the bikes we'd recommend β before a route is published and at least once each season.
