The Peninsula Circuit
A technical five-day route for experienced riders who want speed and challenge on Cape Point's coastal singletrack.
The route
A route worth
booking a flight for.
The Peninsula Circuit is our most technical trip — a five-day tour of the Cape Peninsula's best advanced singletrack, from Table Mountain's exposed ridgelines to Cape Point's coastal trails.
It's shorter and sharper than our Winelands route, purpose-built for riders who already know what they want: high-quality technical trail, committed descents, and the kind of views you only get from the Cape's coastal ridges.
Day by day
The itinerary
Airport pickup, check-in at our Hout Bay base, and a late-afternoon shakedown ride on the Table Mountain foothill trails. Gear check and route briefing at dinner.
A committed day on the Silvermine network. Fast, technical descents on exposed sandstone with serious views of both coastlines. The day that confirms whether advanced is the right grade for you.
The signature day. Coastal singletrack from Smitswinkel Bay to Scarborough, with a lunch stop at Cape Point. Exposed ridges, sand, and sustained descents.
Tokai's fast, pine-forest descents followed by a climb over Constantia Nek. Wet-root season testing for your line choice.
A final morning lap of the Table Mountain back routes, ending at a Camps Bay lunch spot. Afternoon transfers to the airport or onward stays.
